FRIDAY FISH FRY SEASON 2025

There’s something about fried fish that gives me joy. Maybe it’s growing up in a Catholic family, or spending my college years at Marquette University in Milwaukee. I spend Lent sacrificing… by checking out the best fish fry meals in the Twin Cities.

Last Friday we hit up Mara at Four Seasons Minneapolis. We sat at the bar, ordered the $24 walleye fish fry meal. 5 beautifully fried pieces of walleye with a salad that made us feel like we weren’t going too far with fried fish.

I do think salad instead of french fries is a sin, but it’s the Four Seasons, they have to fancy it up just a little bit. I love sitting at this bar - so many fun people from all over to chat with, and the wine is spectacular!
